SURLYN结构与特点：SURLYN树脂是杜邦美国杜邦公司利用*特的生产工艺聚合而成，是由高压自由基聚合的乙烯-甲基丙烯酸共聚物经部分或全部中和而制成的一种共聚物。SURLYN树脂中酸的含量约为6%（摩尔），用钠、钾、镁或锌的化合物中和酸。

Surlyn树脂的密度为0.93～0.94 克/立方厘米，它可以像低密度聚乙烯那样进行吹塑和挤出成型；而另一方面它又比低密度聚乙烯有高的强度、耐油性和对材料的粘合性。由于它还具有优异的透明度而曾被称为透明聚乙烯。

这些特性是由于分子中存在离子键的结果。SURLYN有着优异的低温抗冲击韧性,出色的抗磨损、刮擦性能,出色的抗化学药品性能,SURLYN透明、清澈、光泽柔和华贵,SURLYN有优异的熔融强度（熔融下拉伸不断裂）,有多种牌号符合FDA相关标准,可直接粘贴环氧树脂和聚丙烯表面作修饰保护,也可直接热贴合在金属、玻璃、纤维表面作修饰保护.

Structure and characteristics of SURLYN: SURLYN resin is polymerized by DuPont Company of the United States using special production process. It is a copolymer made of ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer polymerized by high-pressure free radical and partially or completely neutralized. The content of acid in SURLYN resin is about 6% (mol), and the acid is neutralized with sodium, potassium, magnesium or zinc compounds. The density of Surlyn resin is 0.93~0.94 g/cm3, which can be blown and extruded like low density polyethylene; 

On the other hand, it has higher strength, oil resistance and adhesion to materials than LDPE. It was once called transparent polyethylene because of its excellent transparency. These properties are due to the existence of ionic bonds in the molecule. SURLYN has excellent low temperature impact resistance, excellent abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, and excellent chemical resistance.

 SURLYN is transparent, clear, soft and luxurious. SURLYN has excellent melting strength (tensile strength does not break under melting). There are many brands that meet the relevant FDA standards. It can be directly pasted on the surface of epoxy resin and polypropylene for modification and protection, or directly hot-pasted on the surface of metal, glass, and fiber for modification and protection
