聚酰胺纤维之用途:

  聚酰胺纤维可制成长纤或短纤,其用途如下:

1﹑长纤:聚酰胺长纤可单独使用,也可与其它纤维交织,也可假捻加工成加工丝供针织或平织用途,在内衣用途可用于男女儿童服装、被套面料、袜子、雨衣等‧另聚酰胺纤维用于航天员外衣之外层及内里,利用其高度强度来保护航天员不受外层空间陨石之袭击,在家饰布可用于窗帘布、浴帘布及雨伞布等,在产业用途可用于渔网、滤布、缆绳、轮胎帘布、轮送带衬布及降落伞布等‧由于其强力高、耐冲击、耐磨性佳,用于轮胎帘布制成轮胎后其行驶里程较以往之嫘萦轮胎帘布行驶之里程高,据实验证明聚酰胺轮胎帘布轮胎可行驶约三十万公里,而嫘荧萦轮胎帘布轮胎仅能行驶约十二万公里,使用于轮胎帘布之聚酰胺长纤以尼龙六六为大宗,其占尼龙六六纤维使用量约50%。

2﹑短纤:聚酰胺短纤与长纤相比在美国其使用量约占21%,在地毯用纤维中,短纤维占90%以上,而聚酰胺纤维又占地毯纤维用量之53%,另外其可与其它纤维混纺用于袜子、华达呢布料、凡立丁布料、毛毯、滤布等。
