PA6的化学物理特性和PA66很相似,然而,它的熔点较低,而且工艺温度范围很宽。
PA66广泛用于制造机械、汽车、化学与电气装置的零件,如齿轮、滚子、滑轮、辊轴、泵体中叶轮、风扇叶片、高压密封围、阀座、垫片、衬套、各种把手、支撑架、电线包内层等。
另一种改性的方法是共聚,共聚尼龙是良好的包覆材料和衬垫密封材料;聚酰胺与聚烯烃嵌段接枝共聚,可大幅度提高冲击强度和尺寸稳定性,降低吸湿性,甚至可制成易加工、低成本的塑料制品。这种解决聚酰胺缺陷的有效途径,是近年来发展改性品种的方向之一。

In 1966, polyamide 12 was produced on a large scale at Hess Chemical Company in Federal Germany. In 1972, industrial production of aromatic polyamides was achieved. After the 1970s, the modification of polyamide aroused great interest, especially in the development of petrochemical industry. The raw material route of polyamide shifted to petroleum, with costs decreasing year by year and production increasing year by year. This led to the development of polyamide as a type of high molecular material with a wide variety of varieties and adaptability for various purposes.
The chemical and physical properties of PA6 are very similar to PA66, however, its melting point is low and the process temperature range is wide.
PA66 is widely used in the manufacturing of parts for mechanical, automotive, chemical, and electrical devices, such as gears, rollers, pulleys, roller shafts, impellers in pump bodies, fan blades, high-pressure sealing enclosures, valve seats, gaskets, bushings, various handles, support frames, and inner layers of wire bundles.
Another modification method is copolymerization, where copolymerized nylon is a good coating material and gasket sealing material; Polyamide and polyolefin block grafting copolymerization can significantly improve impact strength and dimensional stability, reduce moisture absorption, and even make easily processed and low-cost plastic products. This effective way to solve polyamide defects is one of the directions for developing modified varieties in recent years.
